What you’ll be doing… Verizon’s Consumer Wholesale plays a crucial role in how Verizon presents itself in the marketplace, enabling additional revenue streams and subscriber growth through consumer-focused MVNO distribution channels. Joining the GTS team in reseller Solution Suite (RSS), you will be leading the technical team who manages the day-to-day support and fast path projects for all Verizon Wireless resellers. In this role, you will engage in daily high-level collaboration with Wholesale MVNO customers, Wholesale organization, Revenue Assurance, GTS, Network and other internal cross-functional partners. Key responsibilities include- Technical Leadership & Increased Speed to Market : Leading & guiding a technical team responsible for fast path product requests and increase speed to market timeline to delight the customer. Crisis Management 24/7 Operating Model : being responsible for leading the team and partnering with operational support across GTS, Business and network for 247 support models. Executive Escalation Management: Serving as the primary operational point of contact and directing liaison for escalations from business partners. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Building necessary internal relationships and communicating among GTS applications supporting Wholesale and IT teams to resolve customer issues. Leading cross functional team responsible for ensuring Service Level Agreement and Key Performance Indicators for applications supporting resellers are met. Translating complex technical details into clear, concise language for non-technical stakeholders (customers, business partners). Provide short-term solutions, risk/benefit and the path to permanent resolution. Having a d eep understanding of the wireless landscape, and relevant technologies (e.g., Resellers, SIM lifecycle, device certification). Guiding the team to evaluate solution’s alignment with the Reseller agreements and contracts. Determining the structure, design, and scope of the Wholesale systems and having a deep understanding of enterprise application architecture. Leading through ambiguity and having the ability to quickly lead the team to technical solutions and provide recommendations in a high pressure environment Ensuring smooth production rollout of the enhancements ensuring MTTR (Mean Time to Resolution) is met for any post production fallouts Being responsible for ensuring core day-to-day operations SLAs and expectations are met by engaging with internal and external stakeholders, Vendor partners and business teams. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
  • Experience in programming, Operational support or relevant work experience.
  • Experience with JAVA/J2EE Technologies.
  • Experience with writing SQL queries & database Technologies.
  • Exposure in analyzing and debugging the prod issues driving issue resolution.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with managing a team & providing guidance & mentoring them.
  • Experience with Enterprise Architecture Framework .
  • Experience with Unix/Linux .
  • Telecom experience especially with Ordering, provisioning & Billing applications.
  • Familiarity with Microservices Architecture and related technologies.
  • Operational Experience with tools as New Relic, Grafana, Splunk.
  • Operations & support: incident triage, RCA, SLAs.
  • Experience in Cloud technologies .
  • Knowledge of MQ, APIGEE, Kafka, Spring Framework, Apache Camel.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience with modern AI tools.
