About The Position

As part of our Silicon Technologies group, you’ll help design and manufacture our next-generation, high-performance, power-efficient processor, system-on-chip (SoC). You’ll ensure Apple products and services can seamlessly and efficiently handle the tasks that make them beloved by millions. Joining this group means you’ll be responsible for crafting and building the technology that fuels Apple’s devices. Together, you and your team will enable our customers to do all the things they love with their devices. You will be leading a team of engineers and engineering managers responsible for functions including bringup and validation of debug features and tools; triage of failures requiring a combination of software, hardware and Si expertise; and Si validation and characterization leveraging workloads running on internal software builds. You and your team will need to make debug features and tools available for a broad set of Apple R&D teams while also debugging the most critical issues sourced from SiVal, Factory, and Software testing, characterization and screening. This role will require building intimate knowledge of the Apple SW stack, related build flows/automation, and methods for doing custom debug builds for data collection and triage. You will be collaborating with teams across Apple to solve cross-functional issues while also directing and prioritizing work for the team. Process and prioritize work across multiple concurrent projects through proactive and real-time assessments and detailed planning.
