About The Position

The Senior Manager, Physical Security Operations is a member of the Mayo Clinic Enterprise Physical Security Risk Management team. The incumbent provides security management and security consulting services to campus functions and entities within Mayo Clinic operations. The incumbent manages all aspects of campus physical security staff and liaises with campus leadership and staff to support security surveys, threat/risk assessments, and investigations in coordination with Operational Risk Management. Monitors and evaluates effectiveness of security staffing, processes and technology to assure campus security management needs are met. Participates in special projects or assignments or directed by the Director, Campus Security Operations and in collaboration with the Enterprise Security Operations Team and Operational Risk Management Team. Coordinates appropriate security responses in emergency situations. Implements tools to collect and report information in an accurate and timely manner regarding daily security activity and incidents. Responsibilities also include assuring training for campus security personnel and the broader workforce. Incumbent also oversees all aspects of the General Service and Telephone Office, including but not limited to parking and fleet transportation. Promotes on-going development of all staff and responsible for maintaining a professional environment in which staff can grow and develop.
