About The Position

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for developing strategies and logistics to support ongoing Security operations, special events, and project management. Development and management of all training programs associated with and relating to uniform security operations. Responsible for upkeeping workforce pars which includes forecasting staffing needs during peak seasons. Key liaison between Security management, Finance, other UO business units, departments, third party vendors and contractors supporting resort wide construction, development, and operational initiatives. Manage and develop the Security scheduling team while liaising between this team and Security Management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Criminal Justice or Business Administration required.
  • 7+ years in uniformed security or investigative industry experience with 5+ years Supervisory experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Assists in maintaining strong working relationships with outside law enforcement, fire, and medical response agencies, also to include contract security companies and third-party tenants.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for creating blueprint for providing security for all projects, productions, and events.
  • Provides guidance and logistical support for planning of special events and projects, inclusive of managing communication between security resources, other company departments, third party contractors, vendors and outside agencies.
  • Planning and support of all events to include scheduling and establishing proper security levels and support resort wide.
  • Establish security playbooks for all Marquee Events including creating maps and scope of security footprint in the developmental phase of projects.
  • Ongoing development and delivery of uniform security training material. Inclusive of all manuals, department signoffs and UO regulatory training or recertification. Gate keeper for department SOPs, Post Orders, and final approver of all training documentation.
  • Responsible for managing all processes associated with hiring, qualifying, and performance of Security Trainers.
  • Oversees new hire training: standard core, business unit specific, entry OJT and Field Training Officers.
  • Leads a team of three non-exempt Schedulers and a non-exempt Coordinator, provides guidance and recommendations regarding staffing par levels for all events, projects, and productions. Oversees the analysis of attrition, call ins and seasonal trends to optimize Security scheduling across all areas of Security Operations.
  • Develops and maintains resort wide physical security infrastructure assuring all expectations and service standards are met. Maintains liaison and supporting relationship with Resort Services Projects and Technology team.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
