Position Summary: Reporting to the Director, SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting, this individual will be responsible for the preparation and filing of SEC filings and will serve as a key technical accounting resource for the Company. This individual will lead the day-to-day preparation and coordination of the Company’s SEC reporting activities, supporting the timely and accurate filing of periodic reports and other required disclosures. They will research, evaluate, and document accounting conclusions for complex transactions, lead equity accounting, assist in the development and maintenance of accounting policies, and support financial reporting, external audit, SOX compliance and other compliance activities. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, hands-on accounting professional with strong financial reporting and technical expertise, exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced public company environment and experience within the biotechnology or life science industry would be a strong asset.
