Senior Manager, Salesforce Solution Architect

PwCVancouver, BC
$168,000 - $218,000Hybrid

About The Position

At PwC, this role is part of the business application consulting team, specializing in consulting services for various business applications to help clients optimize operational efficiency. As a Salesforce consulting generalist, the individual will provide consulting services, analyze client needs, implement software solutions, and offer training and support for effective utilization of Salesforce applications to achieve strategic objectives. As a Solution Architect, the role involves owning the end-to-end technical vision for multi-cloud Salesforce implementations, from discovery through design, build, and post-launch optimization. This includes leading delivery teams, mentoring Salesforce consultants, and serving as a trusted advisor to C-suite stakeholders. The position also plays a key role in practice growth through leading pursuits, developing proposals, and building client relationships. It requires both technical depth and consulting leadership, with hands-on involvement in architecture decisions, solution design, and accountability for quality and scalability. This Senior Manager role is part of a team of problem solvers, addressing complex business issues from strategy to execution, and is a newly created position reflecting PwC's commitment to growth and delivering distinctive value.

  • Lead solution architecture across Sales, Service, Experience, Data, Marketing, and Industry Clouds, ensuring designs are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with Salesforce Well-Architected principles
  • Conduct detailed solution design sessions with clients: gathering requirements, mapping business processes to platform capabilities, identifying gaps, and producing technical design documents
  • Design and govern integration architecture: REST/SOAP APIs, middleware (MuleSoft, Boomi), Platform Events, Change Data Capture, and enterprise data migration strategies
  • Establish and enforce DevOps standards for engagement teams: CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Copado, Gearset), branching strategies, code review processes, and deployment governance
  • Lead and mentor a team of 5–15 consultants (developers, configurators, and analysts) — providing technical coaching, conducting architecture reviews, and supporting career development
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex technical challenges: governor limit issues, large data volume strategies, performance optimization, and cross-cloud dependency management
