About The Position

The Senior Manager, Sales Finance partners directly with our Regional Sales Teams to increase shareholder value for HEINEKEN by setting and supporting delivery of challenging financial and non-financial targets. The ideal candidate will become a trusted business partner to sales leadership by demonstrating effective decision making and strong understanding of the commercial processes within an effective and robust financial control environment.

Requirements

Undergraduate degree required: Accounting, Economics or Finance.
5-7 years of business analytics required, preferably in sales analytics, category development or financial reporting.
P&L management, balance sheet analysis, financial modeling, or econometrics
Strong communicator to translate business analysis into actionable insights
Challenger mindset approach to influence cross functional teams
Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage multiple data sources and reporting requirements
Advanced Excel and Power Point skills
English speaking skills

Responsibilities

Finance business partner to Regional Sales Lead (and Sales team) supporting strategy, performance planning, execution, key KPI reporting, and full P&L management.
Support strategic sales execution initiatives through actionable insights & analysis, target setting, & performance management
Support local sales leaders with national incentives tracking for key distributors and retailers
Manage the content for the Business Performance Review process, including creating and maintaining reporting packages, both financial (P&L, Mix) and commercial KPI’s (i.e. volume, due-to analyses, display), and leading the preparation of the executive presentation
Support the HUSA Innovation agenda through forecasting & performance management
Support RVP and Zone Directors with key presentations (e.g., key distributor meetings, CEO/Global Visits, Key Cross-Functional Initiatives)
Partner with sales leads to develop Annual Plan/Commercial Plan (Volume, Distribution, & budgets)
Produce and continuously improve both the Region P&L, including providing volume-price-mix (VPM) and revenue per case analyses, and training materials in order to imbed ROI mindset and improve controls
Identify risks & opportunities to the P&L versus plan and validate with region sales and region national sales prior to monthly Business Performance Review. Develop recommendations and counter execution measures for region sales and region national sales to present in monthly Business Performance Review for future execution.
Champion an ROI mindset & a Cost-Conscious Culture with the sales teams through Business Case Discipline, raising financial acumen, & enabling profitable decision-making
Act as liaison to Pricing and Revenue Management representing the Region financials
Provide insights on key drivers and variances in the monthly commentary to senior management.
Budget management: lead budget planning with the sales organization to deliver KPIs, close monthly budget accruals with commentary versus previous year and plan
Support the business planning cycle: Monthly Forecasts, Annual Planning and Quarterly Latest Estimates
Engage cross-functionally with business process owners (i.e. finance directors, accounting) to understand company performance, provide insights and challenge results
Support the month-end and annual close process including accruals
Partner with sales leads to develop Annual Plan/Commercial Plan (Volume, Distribution, & budgets)
Develop ad-hoc financial modeling and reporting
Own Variable Selling (Coupons & Scans) monthly accrual process
