About The Position

The Senior Manager Regional Facilities Operations provides operational leadership across multiple client sites within Exentec’s Technical Facility Management organization. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations of all site-based facility systems while delivering consistent performance and client satisfaction. The Regional Manager operates within a 24x7 mission-critical environment, supporting manufacturing and research operations that demand precision, discipline, and responsiveness. The ideal candidate demonstrates a high sense of urgency, strong technical understanding, and the ability to lead up 3-6 sites typically consisting of up to 150 employees toward operational excellence within established budgets and standards. Travel of up to 40–50% is expected to support site operations, audits, and client interface activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related technical field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Technical Facility Management or Operations Management in a semiconductor, biopharma, or high-tech manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated success managing site or regional operations teams in mission-critical facilities.
• Proven record of maintaining uptime, safety, and quality metrics.
• Familiarity with EHS compliance, reliability programs, and process systems such as gas, chemical, and UPW.
• Leadership & Team Management: Strong ability to lead and develop front-line operations teams across multiple sites.
• Operational Discipline: Executes with urgency, precision, and reliability in high-stakes environments.
• Technical Expertise: Working knowledge of facility systems including TGCM, UPW, WWT, electrical, and mechanical utilities.
• Problem Solving: Analytical approach to troubleshooting and root cause resolution.
• Client Service: Professional communication and ability to build trust through consistent performance.
• Financial Awareness: Understanding of budget management, cost control, and contract compliance.
• Collaboration: Works effectively with regional directors, business development, and corporate support teams.

Responsibilities

• Promote Exentec’s Incident Free Workplace culture and lead by example in daily operations.
• Ensure site compliance with Exentec and client EHS programs, policies, and all regulatory requirements.
• Support incident investigations, implement corrective actions, and reinforce proactive hazard identification.
• Conduct safety audits and promote continuous improvement to reduce risk and maintain world-class safety performance.
• Manage daily operations and maintenance of facility systems including gas, chemical, electrical, UPW, wastewater, and mechanical utilities that enable client production.
• Oversee site managers and operations managers to ensure uptime, reliability, response and client satisfaction metrics are met or exceeded.
• Drive the execution of preventive maintenance programs, root cause analyses, and improvement initiatives aligned with corporate standards.
• Support delivery of key performance indicators (KPIs) in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People & Growth
• Manage site & regional operating budgets in alignment with contractual deliverables and corporate financial targets.
• Monitor cost performance, resource utilization, and overtime controls to maintain profitability.
• Provide input for forecasting, variance analysis, and cost-improvement planning.
• Support regional leadership in pricing, proposals, and scope changes as needed.
• Serve as the escalation point for client site management teams.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and ensure operational transparency and responsiveness to client needs.
• Proactively identify issues or opportunities for improvement and communicate action plans to clients and leadership.
• Represent Exentec’s operational capabilities, reliability, and commitment to safety at all client interfaces.
• Supervise and mentor site-level leaders, including Site Managers, Operations Managers & Supervisors,
• Set clear performance expectations and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Support employee development through on-the-job training, coaching, and certification programs.
• Promote cross-site collaboration, knowledge sharing, and recognition of outstanding performance.
