About The Position

The Senior Manager, Realty Project Management, is responsible for managing and overseeing multiple projects for Walmart's Realty Execution Team. This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with strong leadership and communication skills to ensure successful project execution, timely delivery, and cost-effectiveness. The Realty Project Manager will be responsible for managing project budgets, assessing economic and customer experience impacts, creating schedules, coordinating with internal and external teams, and managing vendor relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing, delivery, and installation of materials for projects. To ensure these responsibilities are fulfilled, this role will be field-based and may require up to 90% travel.

Requirements

  • Utilize technology and software to manage projects and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Willingness and capability to travel up to 90% for project execution and oversight.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and 2 years’ experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or relevant area OR 4 years’ experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or related area.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple Realty execution projects and oversee Store Project Leads to ensure the project scope is completed.
  • Coordinate project deliverables with internal and external teams.
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing, delivery, and installation of materials.
  • Assess economic and customer experience impacts of project decisions.
  • Analyze, plan, and implement project initiatives.
  • Take corrective action as necessary.
  • Direct associates and vendors on processes and procedures.
  • Advise on the assignment of additional staff to meet company and facility goals.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and support the company mission, values, and standards of ethics.
  • Provide opportunities for associate development, including hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, and fostering a sense of belonging.
  • Model and enforce proper customer service techniques within Walmart guidelines.
  • Oversee activities and assignments to support business needs.
  • Demonstrate adaptability and promote continuous process improvement methodologies.
