About The Position

Church & Dwight is seeking a Senior Manager, R&D Product Development to join their team. This role provides leadership and technical expertise in the development of regulated medical device and homeopathic products, including design, formulation, verification/validation, and commercialization. The Senior Manager, R&D Product Development will lead teams to deliver a robust product pipeline that meets consumer needs, regulatory requirements, and business objectives while ensuring product quality, safety, and compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline required.
• 10+ years of laboratory experience, or Ph.D. with 7+ years of experience.

• 5+ years of supervisory/management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead group by managing workload, daily project execution, and prioritization across medical device and homeopathic product development programs.
• Supervise and mentor team members, including performance management and people development activities.
• Develop and deliver the R&D portfolio and innovation pipeline to support business growth, regulatory compliance, and global expansion.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Regulatory, Quality, Clinical, Marketing, Operations, and Manufacturing to ensure successful project execution.
• Conduct product development from concept through design transfer and commercialization, including pilot-scale work and manufacturing scale-up.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and quality systems (e.g., Design Controls, ISO 13485, FDA/cGMP), including proper development documentation (e.g., Design History Files, specifications, and technical reports).
• Identify and communicate technical and regulatory risks and implement mitigation strategies early in development.
• Represent R&D leadership in internal and external forums, including interactions with regulatory bodies, suppliers, and professional organizations as needed.
• Support budgeting, resource planning, and technical strategy development for the product categories.
