About The Position

The Senior Manager, Industrial Project Management leads the execution of complex, cross-functional projects by aligning business priorities with operational needs and removing obstacles to performance. This role oversees project planning, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and progress tracking while fostering a collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement. The position requires strong leadership in developing associates, managing stakeholder relationships, and driving data-informed decisions to enhance efficiency and achieve strategic goals. The Industrial Design & Construction Last Mile team drives Walmart’s pickup and delivery network projects, supporting supply chain and retail operations. This collaborative group partners with internal units, consultants, and leadership to manage complex initiatives focused on consistency, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Team members apply creative problem-solving and adaptability in a dynamic environment. Emphasizing operational excellence and strategic execution, the team plays a vital role in delivering convenient, reliable omnichannel experiences that enhance Walmart’s service capabilities and customer satisfaction across the organization.

Requirements

Proven expertise in project management, including planning, execution, and risk mitigation across complex, cross-functional initiatives.
Strong leadership skills with experience in mentoring, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities to influence and align groups.
Demonstrated capability in monitoring project performance, managing schedules, budgets, and documentation.
Proficiency in process improvement and decision-making to enhance operational efficiency.
Adaptability to evolving business needs and commitment to continuous learning and development.
Experience driving data-informed decisions and managing multiple priorities effectively.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field and 4 years' experience in business, operations, analytics, or related area OR 6 years' experience in business, operations, analytics, or related area.
2 years’ supervisory experience.
3 years’ project management experience.
