The Command Center team within the BC&P Operating Office is seeking a dynamic Project Manager and team leader to lead the delivery of high-priority initiatives within BC&P. In this role, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver and amplify BC&P’s most impactful work, solve complex problems, and balance strategy and tactics. Project work includes launching new products, leading updates to existing products and features, and leading foundational initiatives that enable growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
• At least 6 Years of Project Management or Program Management experience
• At least 2 Year of People Management experience

Nice To Haves

• Masters / MBA degree
• 8+ years of Project Management or Program Management experience
• 2+ years of Product Management experience
• 4+ years of People Management experience
• PMP, Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma certification
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of high-priority initiatives and work streams that span across Business Cards and Payments and Capital One, directly and through a team of project managers
• Design, develop, and manage project plans and delivery roadmaps in a complex dynamic environment
• Partner with project customers to provide strategic and tactical recommendations in support of project delivery
• Drive solutions to complex problems across cross-functional teams by applying sound business judgment to navigate trade-offs between competing priorities
• Manage a large set of stakeholders
• Effectively manage scope, schedule, resources and budget
• Communicate status, impediments, and risks/issues across all levels of the program
• Deliver results and influence business outcomes across all levels of the organization
• Influence and manage stakeholders and intent owners across COF ranging from VP+ to associate
• Lead a team of project managers
• Exhibit outstanding influencing skills to effectively drive project / program efforts
• Demonstrate a proven track record of excellent project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environment
• Display a passion for coaching and developing a team of associates through their leadership style
• Have excellent communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes
