About The Position

The Construction team is responsible for the entire process flow of delivering the physical data centers from shovel ready state through commissioning, working with Sales, Operations, and management along the way. Construction implements and executes upon the work product developed by the Development & Engineering (D&E) team. The team also manages Vantage’s build partners to success through technical feedback and review and actively participates in review of schedule and budget. As the Senior Manager, Project Controls for North America, your key function will be to support the efficient delivery of Vantage Data Center Portfolio by the organization of data, implementation of scalable processes and the use of professional tools. In this role, you will lead, collaborate, negotiate, and communicate to identify areas for improvement, development of plans, processes and execute changes. This includes supporting project budgets and schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. This role is based fully remote in the US. Vantage is hiring a Senior Manager, Project Controls to lead project controls efforts across multiple development projects. This role will oversee scheduling, cost estimating, change management, and reporting functions, ensuring alignment with global standards and supporting project delivery teams.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in project controls management required
• Experience in P6 software
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Understanding general project controls technical skills and the integration of all of the components including organizational, planning, accounting, analysis and revision process areas.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Nice To Haves

• 5 to 7 years preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Engineering or certification as Project Controls Manager or equivalent recommended.

Responsibilities

• Manage schedule and cost databases for assigned projects.
• Ensure consistent use of WBS, CBS, and SOV structures.
• Provide schedule and cost deliverables to internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop project-level dashboards and reports.
• Lead month-end forecasting and variance analysis.
• Ensure accurate reporting of risk exposure and progress metrics.
• Implement change management workflows and documentation.
• Evaluate design and construction changes for cost/schedule impact.
• Maintain historical data for future benchmarking.
• Oversee schedule development and updates across lifecycle stages.
• Ensure contractor compliance with project controls standards.
• Partner with estimating and finance teams to improve forecasting accuracy.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
