This role is part of the Blue Origin Engines business unit, where our focus is the design, development, manufacturing, and testing of engines and propulsion systems. Built for multiple uses, our family of engines is powering the next generation of rockets for commercial, civil, national security, and human spaceflight. As the Senior Manager of multi discipline support, Combustion Devices engineering and product team, you will set technical and product support directions and develop team members to support current and future program needs. You will also support in-house and supplier activities in the design, fabrication, and continuous improvement of combustion device component for ULA and New Glenn customers. This includes leading and promoting process improvement and development activities across all phases of the component life cycle to support on-rate product delivery. You will be responsible for the complete employee experience, including hiring, performance management, training, and providing tools for career development. You will help improve technical processes, requirements and tool development in the focused areas of engine test planning, execution, and engine development cycles, as well as provide day-to-day direction. This role is an integral part of the Blue Origin BE-4 program, where our focus is the design, development, manufacturing, procurement, and testing of engines and propulsion systems. Built for multiple uses, our family of engines is powering the next generation of rockets for commercial, civil, and national security missions. In addition to people management responsibilities, you will provide direct technical support across all phases of the component life cycle. You will contribute to and lead component design, manufacturing, and test support; perform data reviews and test readiness reviews; and support anomaly investigations and root cause analyses to drive corrective actions and hardware improvements.
