About The Position

BGS is seeking a Senior Manager in Oklahoma City, OK. This role is responsible for executing the Product Support statement of work on the B-52 Bomber Commercial Engine Replacement Program (CERP). In this role, you will have a strong partnership and teaming with BDS counterparts. This will be a multi-phased program with proposal activity in later phases. Collaboration with BGS functional leads in leading the integrated execution, integrated logistics, and product support. Our team is looking for a leader skilled with program management discipline, easily able to navigate a fast-paced program, strong collaboration skills, and brings a great attitude that can successfully lead a complex portfolio while partnering with our BDS counterparts in leading Boeing successfully on this program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 5+ years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with stakeholders (i.e. customers, suppliers, peers and/or partners
  • 5+ years’ experience using project management methodologies, including developing project plans, performance management, and managing issues and risks
  • Knowledge of Product Support Elements

Responsibilities

  • Manages employees and first-level managers performing business management activities in the area of Program Management
  • Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives
  • Strong EVM background and demonstrated experience using EVM to manage technical, cost and schedule performance oversight for BGS work
  • Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
  • Establishes Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) program goals and establishes a PMBP improvement plan
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers
