About The Position

BGS is seeking a Senior Manager in Oklahoma City, OK. This role is responsible for executing the Product Support statement of work on the B-52 Bomber Commercial Engine Replacement Program (CERP). In this role, you will have a strong partnership and teaming with BDS counterparts. This will be a multi-phased program with proposal activity in later phases. Collaboration with BGS functional leads in leading the integrated execution, integrated logistics, and product support. Our team is looking for a leader skilled with program management discipline, easily able to navigate a fast-paced program, strong collaboration skills, and brings a great attitude that can successfully lead a complex portfolio while partnering with our BDS counterparts in leading Boeing successfully on this program.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher
5+ years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
5+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with stakeholders (i.e. customers, suppliers, peers and/or partners
5+ years’ experience using project management methodologies, including developing project plans, performance management, and managing issues and risks
Knowledge of Product Support Elements

Experience supporting military programs
Experience in the implementation and use of Program Management Best Practices
Background in Product Support functions
Previous experience in Earned Value Management (EVM)
Must have demonstrated work ethic and sense of urgency for completing assigned work with a history of meeting commitments

Highly motivated and must work well in a team environment

Responsibilities

Manages employees and first-level managers performing business management activities in the area of Program Management
Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives
Strong EVM background and demonstrated experience using EVM to manage technical, cost and schedule performance oversight for BGS work
Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
Establishes Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) program goals and establishes a PMBP improvement plan
Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers
