This role is grounded in the North America apparel consumer and accountable for leading the product creation process while managing and developing a team of Product Line Managers. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Merchandising, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in apparel product creation, product line management, merchandising, or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of the North America apparel consumer, marketplace dynamics, and product creation process.
  • Proven ability to translate strategy into clear tools, processes, and ways of working that drive speed, focus, and alignment.
  • Consumer centric mindset with a passion for apparel, sport, fashion, and culture, and the ability to turn insight into compelling product direction.
  • Demonstrated experience leading others, including mentoring, setting expectations, and managing performance.
  • Confidence operating as a player/coach, balancing hands-on product ownership with people leadership.
  • Ability to bring structure and clarity to ambiguity, operate proactively, and thrive in a fast moving environment.
  • Strong influencing and communication skills, with the ability to represent Nike effectively with internal partners and third parties.
  • Experience driving both market share and mind share through sharp product strategy and execution.
  • Outstanding storytelling, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a Product Line Management team, setting clear expectations, expanding capabilities, and driving strong execution and accountability.
  • Act as a player/coach, balancing direct ownership of product work with people leadership, mentorship, and team development.
  • Serve as a core member of the extended Express Lane leadership team, representing the voice of the team, shaping operating models, and driving alignment, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner closely with Design and Development within a dedicated Apparel triad, along with key supporting functions across the end-to-end product creation process.
  • Collaborate extensively with Global Product Creation teams, Merchandising, and Brand partners to align local consumer needs with global strategies.
  • Deliver speed, clarity, and compelling product at scale for North America.
  • Set the standard for operational excellence, continuously evolving tools, processes, and ways of working.
  • Ensure product briefs are grounded in deep consumer truths, clearly articulated, and tightly aligned to seasonal priorities and broader strategic objectives.
  • Lead the end-to-end product creation process, working closely with Design and Development to translate strategy and consumer insight into clear, actionable briefs and strong execution.
  • Ensure clarity of priorities, high standards of output, and consistent delivery against strategic objectives for the Product Line Management team.
  • Represent the team’s work with confidence in internal and external forums.
