The Senior Manager, Product Development leads cross-functional collaboration to drive product initiatives from concept through commercialization ensuring alignment with business strategies and quality standards. This role oversees sourcing, product specifications, and performance metrics while identifying and resolving issues to meet production timelines. By leveraging industry insights and data analysis, the position supports strategic decision-making and continuous improvement. The Senior Manager also fosters team development, promotes ethical standards, and champions operational excellence to deliver innovative products that meet customer needs and advance organizational goals. Requirements
- Proven expertise in product lifecycle management and new product development within complex environments.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive alignment on product initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, conduct root cause analysis, & recommend effective solutions to resolve product issues.
- Experience in developing and managing highly technical product specifications to meet quality standards and customer needs.
- Strategic mindset with the capability to develop product strategies that align with business objectives and merchandising goals.
- Excellent communication skills to influence internal and external partners and provide clear updates.
- Leadership experience in mentoring and developing team members to achieve performance goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Design, or related field and 4 years’ experience in design, merchandising, marketing, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in design, merchandising, marketing, or related area.

Responsibilities
- Lead product development initiatives by managing communications with internal and external partners to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
- Oversee sourcing activities, validating documentation and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business strategies.
- Develop and manage connected tech product specifications throughout the lifecycle, conducting benchmarking and quality evaluations to meet customer needs.
- Drive product strategy by analyzing market trends, providing insights, and recommending enhancements to senior leadership.
- Manage multiple projects by identifying needs, removing obstacles, and adjusting plans to achieve business objectives.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
