About The Position

We seek a Senior Manager, Planning Excellence to elevate planning capabilities through scalable data solutions, process optimization, and strategic insight generation. The Senior Manager, Planning Excellence is responsible for defining and leading the roadmap for planning analytics, tools, and reporting infrastructure across the Factor network. The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of analytical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership capability, with a proven ability to translate complex business needs into scalable solutions and influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own Planning Excellence Strategy and Roadmap: Define and drive the long-term vision for Planning Excellence, including tools, reporting infrastructure, and process optimization initiatives.
• Provide and manage cross-functional roadmaps in partnership with tech teams, ensuring alignment to business goals and measurable impacts.
• Establish scalable frameworks for planning metrics and reporting cadences across the network.
• Lead Data-Driven Decision Making: Translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for senior and executive leadership.
• Oversee development of reporting and analytical outputs that drive real-time visibility and proactive decision-making.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through planning metrics to influence business decisions (waste, throughput, cooking trends,..).
• Build Scalable Data Solutions: Oversee development and maintenance of critical planning tools, datasets, and systems.
• Drive evolution from static reporting to dynamic, user-friendly platforms and interfaces.
• Partner with tech teams to advance automation, advanced analytics, and machine learning applications.
• Lead Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the primary lead for Planning Excellence across Planning, Operations, Supply Chain, and Tech.
• Ensure alignment on data definitions, processes, and expectations to maintain integrity and consistency across the network.
• Develop & Lead a High-Performing Team: Manage and develop a team of analysts and managers, setting clear expectations and fostering ownership, accountability, and growth.
• Elevate team capabilities in analytics, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication.
• Ensure effective distribution of work across tool ownership, project evaluation, and strategic initiatives.
