About The Position

The Senior Manager, Planning, Allocation & Replenishment is a highly visible, key leader within our enterprise-level initiative to scale the direct-to-consumer (D2C) business across digital and physical retail channels. The Senior Manager is responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing a new team and foundational capabilities within the company. This role will lead organizational change by setting the vision, driving cross-functional alignment, and ensuring seamless integration of new technologies and workflows. This role’s leadership will be instrumental in developing a high-performing team and embedding best-in-class practices that will enable the organization to scale and adapt in a dynamic business environment. The Senior Manager leads a team of 3–5 direct reports (Demand Planners and Allocation & Replenishment Analysts) and drives measurable outcomes through demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and open-to-buy control. This role partners across Finance, Merchandising, Supply Chain, IT, and Retail Operations, and is accountable for decisions that influence up to $100M in annual inventory spend.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Merchandising, or related field (Masters preferred)
  • 7+ years of experience in merchandise planning, allocation, replenishment.
  • 5+ years of people management experience leading planning or allocation teams
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and planning/reporting tools (e.g., Anaplan, JDA, SAP, or similar).
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to manage open-to-buy, assortment planning, and markdown strategies.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and mentor a team of Demand Planners and Allocation & Replenishment Analysts.
  • Build team capabilities in forecasting, inventory management, and reporting.
  • Foster collaboration across D2C & wholesale functions, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Act as a key contributor in assortment planning, providing demand, inventory, and promotional insights that influence seasonal and campaign strategies.
  • Partner with Merchandising and Marketing to streamline promotions and product launches.
  • Align demand planning with digital marketing calendars and sales initiatives.
  • Contribute to assortment planning by providing store-level demand, grading, and inventory insights to guide buying and merchandising strategies.
  • Develop demand forecasts and inventory strategies for all retail locations.
  • Drive allocation decisions and replenishment execution across stores to maximize sales and productivity.
  • Support open-to-buy and markdown planning by collaborating with Merchandising and Finance.
  • Lead weekly reporting on sales, inventory, and replenishment performance, translating results into clear, actionable insights for partners.
  • Architect, implement, and continuously improve the end-to-end planning, allocation, and replenishment operating model for D2C, including new processes, governance, and cross-functional ways of working.
  • Lead enterprise-level integration with Finance, Merchandising, Supply Chain, IT, and Retail Operations to align plans, targets, reporting, and decision-making cadence.
  • Convert business strategy into forecasts, inventory plans, and performance insights; assess sales trends, promotions, and inventory to boost profit and service.
  • Own the planning solution architecture in Anaplan (and connected tools), driving build requirements, testing, adoption, and enhancements; lead organizational change to implement new business processes and ensure sustained adherence.
