City Football Group is looking for a high-performing commercial leader to drive partnership growth across the Americas. Based in New York, the Senior Manager, Partnership Sales – Americas will play a critical role in securing new global and regional brand partners across CFG’s world-class portfolio of football clubs and properties. This is a senior sales role for a commercially sharp, relationship-driven operator who thrives in fast-paced environments and knows how to close high-value partnerships while contributing to broader commercial strategy.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years’ experience in direct sales, ideally within sponsorship, brand partnerships or sports marketing.
  • Strong understanding of the US and global soccer landscape and commercial sports environment.
  • Proven experience selling brand partnerships or sponsorship solutions, preferably for major sports properties or agencies.
  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Commercially sharp, highly organised and comfortable managing complex sales cycles.
  • High work ethic, team-first mindset and the ability to thrive in a global organisation.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and events as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and/or proficiency in Spanish or additional languages.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the acquisition of new global and regional partners across the Americas, owning your accounts and revenue pipeline.
  • Consistently meet and exceed ambitious sales targets by closing high-value partnership deals.
  • Build, manage and forecast a strong pipeline of qualified prospects with disciplined reporting.
  • Lead and support partnership negotiations, working closely with internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate across CFG’s global commercial network to align regional sales activity with wider group strategy.
  • Work cross-functionally with Partnership Strategy & Creative, Marketing & Operations, and other internal teams to deliver best-in-class partnership solutions.
  • Represent City Football Group at industry events, conferences and matches, hosting prospective and existing partners.
  • Travel across the Americas as required to support business development and relationship growth.
