About The Position
The Senior Manager, Operations leads the execution of complex projects and programs by managing timelines, resources, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful implementation. This role provides data-driven insights and develops innovative solutions to enhance business efficiency and operational effectiveness. Responsible for overseeing budget management, process improvements, and stakeholder engagement, the position drives initiatives that support strategic objectives and operational goals. The Senior Manager also fosters team development through coaching and performance management while upholding company policies and ethical standards to deliver consistent, high-quality results. The governance team within Last Mile Delivery, Trust & Safety focuses on policy and process governance to ensure operational excellence. This team leads cross-functional initiatives, driving project execution and continuous improvement to enhance business efficiency. By leveraging data analysis and effective communication, the team develops innovative solutions and maintains high standards for performance and compliance. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, they support strategic goals and operational success while fostering a culture of accountability and integrity. This team plays a critical role in advancing Walmart’s commitment to reliable and efficient service delivery.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in operations and project management with the ability to lead complex initiatives and manage multiple work streams.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable business recommendations.
- Demonstrated success in driving process improvements and enhancing business efficiency through innovative solutions.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and fostering collaboration to achieve strategic objectives.
- Effective communication skills to influence stakeholders and facilitate clear, timely information flow.
- Ability to manage budgets, prioritize assignments, and adapt plans based on performance evaluations.
- Commitment to developing talent through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or related field and 3 years’ experience in operations, project management, or related area OR 5 years’ experience in operations, project management, or related area.
- 1 year’s supervisory experience.
