About The Position

This role oversees multiple projects by defining scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, and timelines. It involves coordinating planning, managing project governance, monitoring budgets, and delivering presentations to stakeholders. The role also manages content management initiatives, including evaluating requests, designing tools, collaborating on intranet content, and ensuring content aligns with governance standards. Additionally, it directs processes and procedures by analyzing data, identifying areas for improvement, developing solutions, and consulting with cross-functional teams to ensure buy-in and sustainable processes. The position drives behavior change and process improvement programs, evaluates needs, develops operational strategies, provides guidance on policies, and monitors program performance. It also involves driving the execution of business plans and projects by identifying needs, communicating priorities, removing barriers, and adjusting performance accordingly. Finally, the role provides supervision and development opportunities for associates, promoting a team-based environment, setting expectations, conducting evaluations, and fostering a culture of belonging. It also promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and ethical standards, ensuring compliance and encouraging the use of the Open Door Policy. The role ensures business needs are met by evaluating current plans, consulting with business partners, soliciting suggestions for efficiency, and participating in community outreach.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field and 4 years’ experience in retail operations, content development, project management, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in retail operations, content development, project management, or related area

Responsibilities

  • Oversees multiple projects by defining scope of work and project objectives, establishing project activities, deliverables, milestones, and timelines, coordinating planning activities, assembling management plans, tracking changes to plans, and ensuring resolution of critical issues.
  • Manages the governance of project plans, identifying resources needed for project completion, monitoring budgets and costs for projects, and delivering presentations, status reports, and other project documentation to stakeholders at regular intervals.
  • Manages content management initiatives by evaluating and prioritizing content requests, designing, developing, automating, and maintaining tools, templates, and resources.
  • Collaborates with team to develop and implement intranet content, providing guidance to team on platform functionality, communication approaches, and content quality standards, ensuring content and digital communications methods align with content governance standards.
  • Audits and tracks content variables, and adapts content and digital communication methods to resolve audit concerns.
  • Directs processes and procedures for areas of responsibility by analyzing data to identify existing standards, processes, governance, and work flows.
  • Evaluates key business components to assess current performance baselines, identifies areas of improvements, edits existing processes, and develops improvement solutions.
  • Ensures program processes are simple and executable with manageable rollout plans, consults with cross-functional teams to get alignment on improvement solutions, ensures process is sustainable for future use, and communicates changes and solutions to key stakeholders to get buy-in and drive behavior change.
  • Manages behavior change and process improvement programs in areas of responsibility by evaluating and determining change and improvement needs.
  • Partners with cross-functional teams to develop the operational strategy to simplify processes, providing guidance and expertise on company policies and procedures.
  • Ensures proper controls, tools, and materials are present to enhance behavior change, partners with stakeholders to ensure alignment and support of the processes.
  • Monitors program performance in relation to metrics, identifies post-implementation issues and concerns, and develops and gains buy-in on changes and resolutions.
  • Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs, developing and communicating business plans and priorities, removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance, providing resources, identifying performance standards, measuring progress, and adjusting performance accordingly.
  • Develops contingency plans and demonstrates adaptability and supports continuous learning.
  • Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training, mentoring, assigning duties, building a team-based work environment, establishing performance expectations, and conducting regular performance evaluations.
  • Provides recognition and rewards, coaching for success and improvement, and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace.
  • Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application, ensuring compliance with them, and utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy.
