About The Position

The Senior Manager of Manufacturing Operations is responsible for leading and optimizing production operations, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and exceptional customer satisfaction. This role drives operational excellence, strategic planning, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and profitability. This role requires a results-driven leader who can balance strategic vision with hands-on execution to drive operational success using empirical manufacturing data. Mikros Technologies liquid cooling systems are deployed servers in large AI data centers and help to increase the energy efficiency of these sites. We also make active liquid cooling systems that are utilized in semiconductor test equipment for providing fast thermal control to maintain a constant temperature under a varying heat load. This role will sit in Claremont, NH. Relocation Available. Competitive salary and including bonus opportunities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations, with a strong track record of leadership, process optimization, and strategic execution in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Experience with new product introductions required.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of personnel management and team development experience.
  • Extensive experience working directly with customers and managing customer relationships.
  • Extensive experience in factory operations, in manufacturing, assembly, or industrial environments.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills with the ability to optimize operational costs and business performance.
  • Proven track record in change management, process improvement, and driving efficiency initiatives.
  • Experience with lean and six sigma principles applied in a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and business analytics tools.

  • Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee production operations, including machining, brazing, mechanical assembly, testing, purchasing, planning, production, and inventory control.
  • Align daily operations with company objectives and customer expectations.
  • Develop and implement strategies that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and drive revenue growth while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Implement lean principles and six sigma methods to improve process control and capacity.
  • Lead and develop our high-performing team, ensuring cross-functional collaboration, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement.
  • Act as a key liaison as needed with customers to enhance output, yield, and satisfaction through proactive communication and problem-solving.
  • Drive change management initiatives, implementing continuous productivity and cost-reduction programs.
  • Identify opportunities for resource optimization and operational efficiency.
  • Assist the Business Unite Manager in forecasting revenue and capital expenditures, and manage budgets to ensure financial health and sustainability.
  • Ensure all operations comply with industry regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
