About The Position

The Beaver Creek Resort Company of Colorado combines a homeowners association and a resort association with some municipal services added. The Resort Company, a Colorado non-profit corporation, incorporated on April 30, 1979, was designed to help Beaver Creek become and remain a unique resort community. The Beaver Creek Resort Company operates certain activations and programming in the Village such as a dedicated teen space, ongoing live musicians, artists, scavenger hunt activity, seasonal weekly fireworks, yoga/fitness courses, summer day camps, and more. Additionally, the Beaver Creek Resort Company has plans for continued growth of similar offerings in the future. The Sr. Manager of Activities position will provide leadership and oversight for these operational programs offered in Beaver Creek Village by the Beaver Creek Resort Company.

Requirements

  • Five or more years of experience leading operational teams in a mountain resort and/or hospitality environment.
  • Excellent guest services skills.
  • Strategic planning capabilities to develop situational analyses and detailed long-term plans.
  • Financial planning and analysis experience.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated history of self-development.
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Willingness to learn and develop skills as the department develops and grows.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Must live in Eagle County and have own vehicle.
  • Able to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and execution of seasonal Village activations and programming, including daily musicians, weekly yoga, fitness and children’s programs, scavenger hunt, etc.
  • Oversee hiring, training, programming and ongoing operations of the Hawk’s Nest Cabin teen center and facility, including obtaining and compliance with County health codes.
  • Oversee summer Day Camp and Hiking Center planning and operations, including compliance with County day care licensing.
  • Drive growth in activations and experiences consistent with Strategic Vision Plan initiatives.
  • Manage and develop a staff to effectively support and execute activities and programs.
  • Prepare, manage and monitor financial budgets and processes for multiple departments.
