About The Position

The Senior Manager, Merchant Marketing leads brand and campaign strategy for merchant marketing within Cards & Loyalty. In this role, you'll drive strategic initiatives while helping the team rethink how we support our strategic partnerships and deliver transformational impact across the business.

Requirements

  • University Degree; Marketing, Business, or related field
  • 7+ years of marketing experience, with demonstrated success in merchant or brand strategy
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong strategic thinking with ability to see the bigger picture while executing tactically
  • Experience developing and delivering business cases and creative strategies
  • Excellent project and time management skills with strong organizational abilities
  • Demonstrated success building and maintaining strong cross-functional relationships
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to thrive in evolving environments

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual French & English
  • Previous experience in credit card or loyalty marketing
  • Track record of driving merchant marketing innovation and transformation

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic initiatives that redefine merchant marketing and strengthen how we engage our strategic partnerships
  • Develop and execute innovative campaign strategies that amplify merchant value and partnership differentiation
  • Build trusted and collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive strategic alignment
  • Manage multiple concurrent strategic projects while maintaining operational excellence and timeline accountability
  • Share insights and expertise with colleagues and peers to ensure strategic consistency and drive organizational learning
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams to explore new approaches and opportunities for merchant and partnership growth
  • Execute analysis and reporting to inform strategic recommendations and guide future merchant marketing strategies
  • Support partner activations and initiatives to strengthen partnership awareness and partnership momentum
