About The Position

Want to combine your love for Pets with your entrepreneurial spirit to drive a next wave of growth for a leading retail media network? The Sr. Manager of Media, will oversee supplier-funded marketing programs for Covetrus. The Sr. Manager of Media will provide leadership and strategic direction, grow revenues, and manage the business unit’s overall P&L performance. The Sr. Manager of Media will develop and executing revenue strategies, including building internal relationships with other parts of Covetrus and developing customer relationships that support new business development with brands within the Pet and Animal Health community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or related field required
  • Minimum 5+ years leading digital & media operations and teams
  • Experience growing revenues and scaling a media business/network required
  • Excellent digital aptitude, marketing measurement, and significant familiarity with ad ops technolo
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, collaboration and presentation skills and ability to implement initiatives within the team and company
  • Excellent leadership skills and experience managing staff to exceed engagement and revenue goals
  • Excellent organizational skills, analytical skills, and strategic thinking
  • Experience with analytics systems such as Google Analytics, Tableau and Excel strongly preferred
  • Strong strategic planning, communication, analytical, interpersonal, organizational and resource management skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of online marketing principles, media publishing, monetization, and advertising

Responsibilities

  • Assess and action on several metrics including revenue and proftiabily trends for retail media.
  • Lead media team in analyzing, planning and executing strategies to grow audiences and revenue across all both B2C and B2B platforms.
  • Manage and improve media infrastructure, including planning, operations, business development, account management.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams including content, creative, and site to ensure traffic is effectively monetized, while collaborating on new monetization opportunities.
  • Work with finance to establish revenue and expense budgets that include contingency measures for the operation.
  • Analyze the market and competition to determine the most effective sales strategies for increasing advertising revenue across multiple platforms.
  • Utilize data and insights to measure effectiveness of media programs, providing senior leadership with strategic recommendations for optimization and growth.
  • Serve as primary liason between media, marketing, and key manufacturers, championing co-op marketing initiatives to drive investment growth, strengthen partnerships, and maximize mutual business opportunities.
