Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in broadcast operations, sports media, marketing, or a related industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Communications, Broadcasting, Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work effectively in publicly visible, high pressure and deadline-oriented environments.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized, attention to detail and strong follow-through.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours based on the NHL schedule.
  • Ability to travel occasionally in support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support to the International Broadcast team and serve as a point of contact for broadcaster inquiries.
  • Track and report on rightsholder selections, contractual obligations, and fulfillment of NHL and partner requirements.
  • Regularly review broadcaster output to ensure compliance with league standards and quality expectations.
  • Coordinate and approve broadcast tune-in materials for international rightsholders to ensure localization and brand consistency.
  • Provide technical, logistical, and on-site operational support for international rightsholders during NHL events and broadcasts.
  • Supports efforts for domestic (US) games distribution planning and execution.
  • Assist in correspondence and monitoring performance of local games distribution via US MVPDs.
  • Manage player signing opportunities and oversee the coordination of the international giveaways program.
  • Coordinate with the Sponsorship and International rightsholders to facilitate digitally enhanced dasherboards (DED) opportunities and execution.
  • Distribute broadcast content and marketing assets across digital portals used by international rightsholders.
  • Assist with special projects, event planning, and operational initiatives as assigned.
