About The Position

Drive sustained and profitable revenue growth through the planning, development and delivery of acquisition, engagement and client-retention marketing programs for Scotiabank’s Retail Investments products and plans (mutual funds, GICs, RRSP, TFSA, FHSA, etc). As a member of the Marketing Planning and Delivery practice (within Canadian Banking Marketing), drives full-funnel marketing planning, and delivery of benefit-led campaigns that enable the Canadian Bank to achieve its strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant marketing or account management agency experience, with a mix of experience in mass advertising (above the line), digital, and targeted (email/authenticated) channels
  • Superior communication skills with the ability to influence and guide strategy, campaign testing and optimization
  • Exposure to the Agile methodology
  • Expertise in driving performance growth across multiple dimensions and KPIs
  • Experience applying AI tools (e.g., Copilot and enterprise AI platforms) to drive marketing strategy, insights, execution efficiency, and decision-making
  • Knowledge of the marketing tech stack
  • Authentic, decisive, resilient, highly collaborative, and results-oriented
  • High attention to detail, exceptionally organized, and strong project management skills
  • Experience managing a team

Responsibilities

  • Sets and refines annual and quarterly marketing plans for Retail Investments.
  • Continuously tracks consumer sentiment, market conditions, competitive activity, and short-term-demand opportunity to improve planning agility, flexibility of budget deployment, and contribute innovative ideas.
  • Accountable for a client-centric team that acquires, analyzes, and leverages insights drawn from market research and data insights to guide strategy for benefit-driven campaigns.
  • Works with data and analytics to develop measurement plans that drive results, while also bringing together multiple teams to execute creative campaigns.
  • Contributes to plans and builds a deep understanding of Bank-wide and business partner needs, ensuring full buy-in (agreement) and participation of multiple business, channel, and marketing partners in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Ensures Canadian Banking Marketing’s Squads have an efficient and effective central point to build-out campaign calendars (including media mix) and set individual program workback schedules.
  • Responsible for providing insight on budget management and coordination with partners for budget revisions.
  • Contributes to development and deployment of creative assets, agnostic of media channel and across all touchpoints, acting as the Squad’s main point of contact for creative and media agencies.
  • Delivers post-campaign analysis of marketing campaigns with insights and recommendations for future consideration that add value for the client and business.
  • Champions proper usage of the Scotiabank brand in Canada, in full compliance with global brand guidelines and Scotiabank’s visual identity continuum.
  • Leads and drives a client focused culture throughout their team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
