About The Position

The Senior Manager, Marketing Analytics & Insights leads the development of an analytics capability that helps leaders make better and faster decisions about brands, channels, consumers, and the portfolio. The role supports Brand Management, Brand Marketing, Commercial Sales, Direct-to-Consumer, Finance, Consumer Affairs, and other business departments, translating data into clear recommendations for senior leaders and serving as the analytics partner to business leaders accountable for decisions. The role owns recurring performance reporting and builds an analytics operating model, KPI framework, scorecards, and roadmap. It will move manual reports toward automated, decision-focused dashboards and help lead the organization toward AI-enabled Enterprise Intelligence. This includes applying tools such as Claude for Business and Power BI to automate reporting and analysis, connect insight across brands, channels, and functions, and support both day-to-day decisions and company strategy. Working within the enterprise data architecture established with IT and Finance, the Senior Manager partners with the BI team on data integration and quality, defines business requirements, manages analytics intake and external partners, and promotes responsible AI use and adoption across the organization.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in marketing, commercial, or consumer analytics, ideally in consumer products, home goods, or omnichannel retail.
  • Hands-on experience with syndicated POS data such as Circana/IRI or Nielsen, and retailer POS data such as SPS.
  • Strong DTC and e-commerce analytics experience, including Shopify, Google Analytics, and CRM/email platforms such as Klaviyo.
  • Advanced Excel and Power BI or Tableau skills.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and ERP data; Dynamics 365 is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate data into concise, executive-ready recommendations and influence senior leaders.
  • Practical experience applying AI and automation to analytics, such as generative AI assistants, Power BI Copilot, or workflow automation.
  • Sound judgment regarding accuracy and data governance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric or modern cloud data platforms.
  • Experience with enterprise AI tools such as Claude for Business.
  • Track record of driving adoption of new tools and ways of working with non-technical business leaders.
  • Background building an analytics function or operating model from a reporting-heavy starting point.
  • Experience with Brand P&L, pricing, and promotion analytics, and wholesale and DTC channel mix.

Responsibilities

  • Own weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reporting by brand, category, channel, customer, and SKU, comparing results with plan and last year.
  • Deliver executive market and performance insight and support periodic brand and portfolio reviews that guide investment priorities.
  • Maintain and track common Brand Marketing, Brand Management, and Commercial Sales KPIs aligned with enterprise measures and the Brand P&L, in partnership with Finance.
  • Lead analysis of subscribed category POS, market share, competitor and retailer performance, and the drivers of share gains or losses.
  • Synthesize consumer and category insight from Circana, Mintel, BazaarVoice ratings and reviews, and research partners into implications for brand and product decisions.
  • Measure campaign and channel performance across paid media, paid search, email/SMS, influencers, PR, and web traffic; recommend monthly spend reallocation.
  • Review the existing report inventory and determine which reports to keep, improve, consolidate, or retire; migrate priority reports to automated Power BI dashboards with the BI team.
  • Use AI tools such as Claude for Business and Power BI Copilot to accelerate analysis and make insight accessible to non-analysts.
  • Partner with IT on data quality and integration across D365, Shopify, Klaviyo, SPS, and Circana into Fabric; define requirements rather than build parallel systems.
  • Run analytics intake by maintaining a register of business questions, department owners, data sources and tools, service levels, and priorities.
  • Manage external analytics, data, and technology partners against defined scopes, costs, and outcomes.
  • Automate recurring reporting, commentary, and data preparation to free analyst time for higher-value insight.
  • Build AI workflows to summarize performance, flag anomalies, and explain drivers in plain language for leaders.
  • Connect insight across Circana, SPS, D365, Shopify, Klaviyo, BazaarVoice, Gorgias, and Finance so brand, channel, consumer, and P&L views tell a consistent story.
  • Develop scenario, forecasting, and early-warning views that move analysis from describing past performance toward informing likely outcomes and actions.
  • Work with IT, Finance, and the Enterprise Intelligence effort to define the target state, use cases, and governance for AI in analytics, including data security, accuracy checks, and responsible use.
  • Train and equip business owners to ask questions of their data directly; build reusable prompts, skills, and dashboards for organizational use.
  • Establish a documented set of priority business questions across departments, each with a named business owner, data source, and delivery cadence.
  • Track hours saved through AI and automation on priority workflows and measure decisions informed by the work, such as spend reallocation, assortment or pricing changes, and share-recovery actions.

  • Life and disability coverage.
  • Flexible spending and health savings accounts.
  • Supplemental insurance options.
  • Access to state-administered retirement programs with employer contributions.
