About The Position

Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for a portfolio of medical device tech ventures. Build strong relationships with founders, entrepreneurs, and key stakeholders, providing support and resources throughout their journey at HKSTP. Understand the unique needs and challenges of each medical device tech venture, and develop tailored strategies to address their specific requirements. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify partnership opportunities that can benefit the medical device tech ventures and facilitate their growth. Work closely with other teams such as business development team, in attracting high calibre Biomedical companies landing to HKSTP. Responsible for admission applications, technical assessments, due diligence, site selection, grant application support, business engagement etc. Coordinate and facilitate meetings, workshops, and events to foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and networking opportunities. Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or any engineering- or Science-related subjects
• 8 to 10 years of work experience, preferably in account management, business development, or a related role within the medical device or biotech industry
• Extensive network with academia, high-tech companies, industries, startup communities, investors, government and regulatory bodies
• Strong understanding of the medical device landscape and emerging technologies in the field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with entrepreneurs, founders, and stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
• Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented mindset
• Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)

Nice To Haves

• PhD or MBA is preferred
• Higher education or professional qualifications with less experience will also be considered
• Candidate with less experience will be considered for lower position.
