Senior Manager Maintenance and Reliability
About The Position
As a Senior Manager Maintenance and Reliability, you will lead the development and execution of reliability strategies across North America operations to improve asset performance, reduce manufacturing losses, optimize maintenance effectiveness, and drive operational excellence. This role partners closely with plant, engineering, and operations leaders to implement best-in-class maintenance and reliability programs that support safety, quality, productivity, and cost objectives. This role reports to VP Operations, Food & Industrial and provides leadership and strategic direction for regional reliability initiatives while influencing stakeholders across multiple manufacturing sites.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Technical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Extensive experience leading maintenance, reliability, engineering, or operations initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience utilizing CMMS platforms, preferably SAP-PM, to support maintenance planning, reliability, and asset management activities.
- Strong knowledge of reliability methodologies, predictive maintenance programs, and root cause analysis techniques.
- Proven ability to lead large-scale operational improvement initiatives across multiple locations.
Responsibilities
- Lead the North America reliability strategy, driving the implementation and sustainability of the Ingredion Performance System across facilities.
- Develop and standardize maintenance and reliability metrics, operational KPIs, and best practices to improve asset utilization and plant performance.
- Establish maintenance strategies for critical operational assets to maximize reliability, throughput, and lifecycle value.
- Partner with plant leadership to identify, prioritize, and execute reliability improvement opportunities through data analysis and root cause investigations.
- Optimize the use of SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP-PM) and other maintenance management systems to enhance maintenance planning, execution, and material management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce manufacturing losses, improve facility utilization, and strengthen operational performance.
- Build organizational capability by developing internal expertise, coaching teams, and sharing reliability best practices across the region.
- Evaluate and implement innovative technologies and Industry 4.0 solutions that improve equipment reliability, maintenance effectiveness, and asset performance.
- Lead cross-functional teams and influence key stakeholders to achieve strategic business objectives and operational results.
- Support maintenance budget management and mechanical stores optimization while ensuring alignment with regional business goals.
- Travel approximately 25% across US and Canada to support manufacturing facilities, partner with site leadership, lead reliability initiatives, conduct operational assessments, and drive the implementation of maintenance and continuous improvement programs.
