About The Position

Dataiku is seeking a Senior Manager, Lifecycle Marketing to build and own the lifecycle function end to end. This role will report to the VP of Digital & Growth and collaborate with cross-functional partners across Web, Content, Acquisition, Field, Marketing Ops, Sales, and Customer Success. Currently, there is no dedicated lifecycle function, with email and nurture responsibilities distributed among other teams. The initial priority will be to establish visibility into existing nurture workflows and then build the strategy, systems, programs, and team for lifecycle marketing. The role involves owning the lifecycle operating system, including an email and lifecycle calendar, frequency governance, segmentation standards, and program launch criteria. Key responsibilities include developing prospect and new-user nurture programs for onboarding and activation, account progression communication, and nurture designed around named-account cohorts. Additionally, the role will focus on customer lifecycle, retention, and expansion programs, partnering closely with Customer Success and Product. This includes programmatic customer nurture for adoption and education, and retention/expansion programs driven by account signals. The position also entails managing the lifecycle layer of the marketing automation stack (HubSpot, Salesforce, 6sense), consolidating existing workflows, building reporting on lifecycle contribution, and ensuring data quality with Marketing Ops. A significant aspect of the role involves integrating AI and agentic workflows into lifecycle marketing, defining standards for lifecycle agents, and identifying where human oversight is necessary. This is a lead role for a new function, requiring the ability to build a team as the function develops and to gain organizational alignment across multiple departments.

  • HubSpot or Marketo depth.
  • Salesforce fluency.
  • Real comfort with the data model under marketing automation and CRM systems.
  • Command of deliverability, frequency capping, suppression, consent, and list hygiene.
  • Experience on both sides of the lifecycle: prospect and customer.
  • Fluency with intent and account data (6sense, Demandbase or similar) and its application in program entry.
  • Comfort building with AI, including using LLMs in personal work and understanding their application in lifecycle programs.
  • Analytical strength: ability to define, instrument, and defend metrics.
  • Comfort with a build role, including ambiguity, direct conversations about tradeoffs, and establishing a function through influence.
  • Experience working across regions in a global organization.
  • Excellent written English.
