About The Position

Responsible for leading and managing all aspects of labor relations within the organization for both union and non-union facilities, while effectively developing, implementing, and leading comprehensive health, safety, and environmental programs.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Relations, Human Resources or a related field.
7+ years proven experience with safety and labor relations, including contract negotiation and grievance resolution.
Experience leading a safety team.
Experience with Microsoft Office products
Travel as needed to company locations

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain effective relationships with local union representatives.
Lead negotiations for collective bargaining agreements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals while addressing employee concerns and needs.
Handle grievances and disputes om accordance with established protocols, working to resolve issues amicably and efficiently.
Promote a culture of safety awareness through specific actions, training, and accountability
Manage and control travel and entertainment expenses.
Lead investigations into workplace incidents and near misses to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
Work closely with the business to integrate EHS and labor relations standards into operational practices.
Communicate EHS goals and labor relations initiatives to all levels of the organization.
Lead and mentor the EHS team, fostering an action and team-oriented environment.
Develop and oversee annual budgets.
