The Senior Manager, J&J Social Impact Brand, Global Health Equity, will play a significant role in this ambition. This talent will shape and deploy strategy and activation programs for J&J CareCommunity, leveraging capabilities in strategic brand marketing to scale the branding, communications, and internal and external activation of the brand. They will sharpen brand fundamentals, toolkits and capabilities to deepen awareness, impact and global connectivity across Johnson & Johnson’s global teams, partners and programs. They will collaborate across strategic partnerships and programs to deliver health equity impact through global health organizations, foundations and private sector partners to execute programs and community initiatives, and in partnership with sector and enterprise teams. The opportunity offers the chance to drive meaningful social impact, building awareness and enabling access to care through J&J CareCommunity programming. It also provides global and enterprise marketing experience, global partnerships and relationships with global healthcare organizations and partnerships, and a deep understanding of our J&J enterprise and commercial organization. Requirements

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required.
  • A minimum of 8+ years of business or healthcare leadership experience with 5+ years of commercial marketing experience is required.
  • Experience with stakeholder engagement, business leadership, executive presence, proficiency with “dot connecting”, influencing without authority, creating long term impact and enhancing the reputation of organization is required.
  • Strong marketing experience inclusive of long-range strategic planning, brand positioning, content development, activation planning and owned & paid media strategies & campaigns.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare, the needs of patients and the nurses, healthcare workers, and providers who serve them.
  • Highly analytical, able to see through data and identify actionable insights.
  • Strong strategic ability to think creatively, conceptually and critically to solve challenging problems.
  • Developing and managing strong collaborative partnerships internally and externally.
  • Managing external vendors, partners and agencies to produce quality work.
  • Outstanding communication and leadership presentation skills.
  • Able to navigate across a matrixed, global organization and influence by building strong working relationships.
  • Project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and make difficult tradeoff decisions.
  • Understanding of health equity challenges facing people in resource-limited settings around the world.
  • Passion for the important role that J&J can play to help improve access to quality healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Shape & deploy the global marketing strategy and activation of the J&J social impact brand, including annual activation plan, communications and media initiatives, employee & stakeholder engagement, KPI measurement – and strong collaboration with cross-enterprise and cross-functional partners.
  • Shape & deploy creative messaging, assets, and brand guidelines for the J&J social impact brand and global health equity programs. Partner with J&J communications teams and internal and external partners to elevate J&J health equity impact stories within the brand, and support creative and communications development, media execution, and measurement of campaign impact.
  • Develop and oversee experiential internal & external marketing programs and execution of the roll-out of the J&J social impact brand and community health events, driving the desired presence, tone, and impact of the events, and event-specific collateral and educational materials for the events.
  • Conduct market research to identify global health equity insights, trends, and marketing and program best practices to develop impactful programs and communications.
  • Build relationships with and partner with leaders across the Global Health Equity team and J&J enterprise, to shape and deploy social impact strategies and programs.
  • Shape and support key elements of annual business planning and long-range financial planning, in collaboration with various functions of the J&J Global Health Equity Team.
  • Measure and report social impact performance and optimization opportunities in collaboration with internal analytics, communications, partner, and other Global Health Equity partners, as necessary. Make recommendations to adjust plans and/or budgets for increased impact.
