About The Position

The Senior Manager, Information Technology will lead a dynamic team of IT professionals of various disciplines to support the company’s technological infrastructure and strategic IT initiatives and ensure the delivery of high-quality IT solutions that support business objectives. This role oversees the planning, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s IT systems and ensures they align with business goals. The Senior Manager of IT will work closely with senior leadership to drive innovation, improve efficiency, and ensure the security and reliability of IT operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or relevant experience.
  • 7+ years of relevant and practical experience, preferably in IT management or a related role, with a proven ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and team management skills, guiding teams toward achieving goals while fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, proactively addressing challenges and making sound decisions in high-pressure situations. Handle most operational issues autonomously, seeking upper management input primarily for strategic or high-impact decisions.
  • Proficient in IT project management methodologies and tools, ensuring the successful planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical staff and team members, ensuring alignment and understanding across all levels.

  • Processes optimization or re-building processes with AI tooling (highly preferred)

  • Mentor team leads and managers on advanced techniques, helping them grow their technical expertise and leadership skills.
  • Drive operational improvements across multiple IT teams, leverage data analytics to demonstrate effectiveness, and optimize resource allocation and budget management to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

  • Oversee complex, large-scale projects and programs, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Leverage the enterprise-wide performance management system to align team and individual goals with organizational objectives, mentor team leads in effective performance management practices, and ensure consistent application of performance standards across multiple teams.
  • Guide multiple teams in implementing complex projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and meet business requirements.
  • Ensure frequent and effective communication with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to maintain alignment and transparency.
  • Align IT initiatives with broader business goals and strategies, ensuring technology supports long-term business objectives.
  • Ensure that IT practices are strategically implemented to support long-term business goals and objectives.
  • Develop and oversee risk management processes for multiple IT teams, proactively addressing potential issues and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure project and operational success.
  • Provide oversight on the architectural and design aspects of IT, ensuring alignment with industry standards and business needs.
  • Actively support team members by identifying and creating opportunities for skill development, cross-functional exposure, and career advancement, ensuring their success and alignment with organizational goals.
  • To ensure optimal service delivery, evaluate and manage relationships with IT operations vendors and service providers.
