About The Position

Reporting to the Senior Director, Global Tax Operations, the Sr. Manager, International Tax is Veralto’s subject matter expert and primary owner of the Company's U.S. international tax inclusion calculations, including NCTI (GILTI), FDII, Subpart F, foreign tax credits, BEAT, Section 163(j) and related tax accounting impacts. The role serves as the Company’s primary technical resource for U.S. international tax matters arising under the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act and subsequent legislation. These responsibilities include technical review and support of U.S. international tax forms and ownership of the underlying tax calculations. This position is part of Corporate Tax within Finance, located in Waltham, Massachusetts, and is hybrid.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • At least 7 years of relevant corporate tax experience in public accounting or private industry
  • Proficient technical knowledge of U.S. international tax concepts
  • Demonstrated experience with U.S. international tax inclusion calculations and related reporting or compliance
  • Demonstrated experience with international components of ASC 740 tax provision work

Responsibilities

  • Own quarterly NCTI/GILTI, FDII, Subpart F, FTC, BEAT, and Section 163(j) calculations and reporting.
  • Prepare Form 1118, including sourcing, expense allocation, apportionment, and documentation across FTC baskets.
  • Partner with Tax Planning on FTC optimization, utilization forecasting, and limitation monitoring.
  • Own international ASC 740 provision components, provision-to-return adjustments, APB 23 positions, and uncertain tax positions.
  • Support Forms 5471, 5472, 8858, and 8865, and own schedules for Forms 8990, 8992, and 8993.
  • Model effective and cash tax impacts and support Pillar Two reporting and compliance.
  • Maintain earnings and profits pools, foreign tax balances, and Sections 986, 987, and 988 calculations.
  • Support tax planning, acquisitions, dispositions, local-country projects, audits, and examinations.
  • Monitor and analyze U.S. international tax legislation to assess business impacts.
  • Lead process improvement, automation, and data governance across international tax compliance and reporting.
