About The Position

The Senior Manager – CNB Integration & Engineering Lead is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving CNB integration initiatives with a focus on engineering execution and delivery excellence. This role reports directly to the Director – Enterprise Platforms Integration and serves as the operational leader for integration program delivery, technology team coordination, and executive reporting. The Senior Manager will lead integration activities across all CNB workstreams, ensuring seamless milestone tracking, transparent reporting, and successful program closure. This role combines integration leadership expertise with hands-on engineering oversight, coordinating cross-functional technology teams and contractor resources to deliver integration solutions while maximizing cost savings and minimizing business disruption through systematic sunset planning.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of integration program leadership or large-scale technical delivery experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing complex multi-entity integration initiatives
  • Strong engineering leadership background with hands-on experience in design, building, testing, and deployment
  • Advanced skills in program governance, executive reporting, and stakeholder management
  • Proficiency with integration tracking tools and reporting platforms to create executive-level reporting dashboards and metrics
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills with ability to coordinate multiple technology teams
  • Experience managing program closure and lessons learned processes
  • Financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost tracking

Responsibilities

  • Drive integration activities including milestone tracking, reporting, and program closure management across all CNB initiatives.
  • Implement established integration governance frameworks and processes to ensure consistent delivery across workstreams.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining integration program schedules with clear milestones, dependencies, and critical path management.
  • Support in generating executive-level reporting on program health, risks, issues, and key performance indicators.
  • Manage program closure activities including lessons learned, documentation, and final reporting.
  • Ensure transparency and accountability across all integration initiatives through structured reporting cadence.
  • Consolidate and track integration metrics and reporting across all CNB initiatives.
  • Develop comprehensive management reporting against program targets and financial metrics.
  • Track and report on cost savings realization across integration programs.
  • Monitor schedule adherence and budget performance against baseline plans.
  • Identify and escalate variances requiring Director-level intervention.
  • Engage various technology teams across RBC and CNB to ensure adequate support for integration activities.
  • Coordinate sunset planning and technology decommissioning efforts.
  • Drive identification and realization of cost savings opportunities across integration scope.
  • Facilitate alignment between technical delivery teams and integration governance requirements.
  • Partner with technology leaders to resolve integration-related technical dependencies and blockers.
  • Own engineering execution for AML, Fraud, and HR domains across design, build, testing, and deployment phases.
  • Establish and enforce engineering best practices including DevOps, CI/CD, and quality standards.
  • Manage contractor teams (3-5 resources) and drive delivery accountability.
  • Ensure reliability, performance, and security of integrated solutions.
  • Drive execution excellence through agile delivery practices.
  • Monitor and optimize engineering capacity and resource utilization.
  • Plan, prepare, review, and submit SteerCo/Opco material and reports.
  • Prepare executive summaries and governance artifacts for Steering Committee meetings.
  • Manage Operations Committee reporting and submission timelines.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all governance materials.
  • Serve as primary integration interface with executive stakeholders.
