About The Position

The Senior Manager – ICR Accounting leads the Company’s end-to-end accounting for company-owned stores, including the order to cash processes, to ensure complete and accurate close, internal and external reporting and controls over revenue and all operational transactions. This role will ensure transactions are in compliance with US GAAP. This role will support the vision for the broader ICR Accounting teams by managing the company-owned store revenue cycle and overall operational close and reporting for approximately 1,800 company-owned locations. The Senior Manager will create efficiency, automation and standardization. This leader will be viewed as the subject matter expert and will play a critical role in ensuring timely, accurate and complete accounting close. This position will ensure that revenue and general operational accounting policies are executed and documented, along with appropriate governance, controls, segregation of duties. The successful candidate will be action-oriented with a blend of both technical and operational accounting experience related to revenue recognition and transactional accounting and will seek to build strong relationships with and deliver superior service to all key stakeholders. This leader will support and drive execution on the ability to scale through people, process, and technology, with synergies. This position sits within our Atlanta based Global Support Center with an expectation to be onsite 80% of the time.

Requirements

  • 4-Year degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant.
  • 10-15+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • 4-7 years of progressive public company experience and experience leading large teams.
  • Ability to plan, supervise, and coordinate team activities, meet the deadlines, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-sufficient, dependable, and strong ability to multi-task and shift priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
  • Ability to understand and apply US GAAP and SEC reporting standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Outlook, Excel and Word in a Windows environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end company-owned store revenue processes including sales audit and sales settlement for in-stores sales and third party delivery sales to meet the close and reporting deadlines (subledger and ledger), including the review of account reconciliations and analyses.
  • Oversee the end-to-end company-owned store accounting month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, P&L review and support of financial results communicated to the operations teams.
  • Partner with operations, FP&A, treasury, IT, and corporate accounting teams.
  • Coordinate and deliver accelerated month end close processes including financial reporting.
  • Responsible for delivery of complete and accurate account reconciliations and variance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external audits, establish and execute control environment.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team where inclusion and diversity are leveraged for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Develop a culture of collaboration, training, and success in the revenue organization.
  • Provide business partnering and decision support on complex/unique/new business activities.
  • Integrate acquisition processes and personnel into centralized teams, processes, and systems.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key franchisees and provide support as required.
  • Provide detailed analysis to support FP&A, senior management, and the business.
  • Partner with the Finance leadership with ad hoc projects and analysis as required.
