About The Position

Position Summary... The Senior Manager of Market Intelligence will play a pivotal role in informing executives on the competitive landscape and business health from a customer-centric lens to fuel Walmart US business growth. This role demands strong ownership, deep expertise in market dynamics and data, and the ability to distill complex information into clear, impactful insights for senior executives. What you'll do... Preparing and presenting high-quality, time-sensitive reports that enhance the organization’s understanding of business performance and competitive positioning. Partnering with data scientists, cross-functional teams, and third-party vendors to build and maintain an executive reporting framework that delivers reliable, timely, and easy-to-digest market share and business insights. Analyzing and synthesizing market trends, competitor strategies, and customer behaviors to inform strategic initiatives and customer-centric decisions. You will sweep us off our feet if you have: Proven consultative experience and thought leadership, with the ability to see the big picture while maintaining attention to detail. Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills. Deep knowledge of syndicated and market data sources (e.g., POS, consumer panel data). A track record of partnering with stakeholders to drive customer-centric strategies and cross-functional initiatives. Strong analytical skills and a passion for innovative techniques and methodologies. An agile, curious, and self-motivated mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement. Excellent collaboration skills and a desire to create impact through teamwork. Solid understanding of macroeconomics, customer research, relational databases, and data visualization tools. Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Market Research, or related field, plus 4+ years of experience in data analytics, customer insights, product management, management consulting, or retail/omnichannel domains.
