About The Position

As a Market Intelligence Manager you'll be responsible for monitoring, collecting, organizing, analyzing, and reporting on information about loans, markets, and affiliations in support of strategic decisions that impact many facets of the business. You'll assist in the assessment of market risk with a focus on Commercial Real Estate, manage vendor relationships for data subscriptions, and manage a suite of credit intelligence reporting. This role will provide actionable information on clients and markets for growth strategy planning. They'll collaborate with stakeholders within the Credit department, across bank departments, and with senior members of the firm to address key initiatives that may be informed by these market and competitor insights. Responsible for supporting the Credit Intelligence Team in the assessment of market risk with a focus on Commercial Real Estate. Leverage multiple data sources provide regular reports on Regional Economies and CRE Markets. Provide support for bank lenders and underwriters for research supporting lending activities. Present analysis to senior leadership and broad audience within the organization. Manage vendor relationships including those related to data subscriptions. Oversee the data quality assessments for these relationships. Collaborate and coordinate with the data operations for Credit Intelligence data sources. Manage a suite of credit intelligence reporting, including the ownership of the production and quality control of market reporting suite. Enhance reporting suite for efficiency and greater clarity.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of related experience in Credit Administration or similar field.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field required.
  • Advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
  • Intermediate to advanced ability to organize, plan and work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize work, meet deadlines, and be flexible in order to respond to shifting demands.
  • Advanced ability to synthesize complex information; ability to distill data, crystalize insights and make recommendations based on analysis.
  • Adaptable and open to continuous learning and improvement.
  • Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
