Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 7 years of Information Security experience or 10 years industry experience working in security
  • 3+ years of leadership experience, which can be a combination of people and or program leadership
  • One or more industry security certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM, or CRISC)
  • Hands-on experience with Devo or similar SIEM platforms
  • Experience with EDR tools such as CrowdStrike and Carbon Black
  • Strong background in incident response and threat detection
  • Familiarity with cyber kill chain and MITRE ATT&CK
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills in high-pressure situations

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in global, enterprise, or high-velocity environments
  • Previous experience in a tech company SOC environment
  • Experience working in a follow-the-sun model or leading globally distributed teams
  • Experience in Lieu of Education An equivalent combination of education and experience performing the duties of this position may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a global SOC team that includes analysts and an architect
  • Own incident response, including coordination of situation rooms and subject matter experts
  • Manage threat detection workflows aligned with frameworks such as the cyber kill chain or MITRE ATT&CK
  • Continuously improve alert mapping, response processes, and security tooling
  • Partner with stakeholders across the organization to reduce risk and strengthen security posture
  • Contribute to strategic planning and the evolution of the security roadmap
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality operations across a 24/7/365 global SOC environment
