This role is for a Senior Manager II (Supply Chain) and is a full-time position with multiple openings. The role is needed in Chicago, IL, and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. The primary focus is to lead Oracle Fusion Cloud assessment, deployment strategies, and Supply Chain Implementation projects. Responsibilities include analyzing data, collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders, monitoring supplier performance and contract compliance, implementing inventory control strategies, coordinating transportation and logistics, developing demand forecasts, adjusting inventory plans, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equiv) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering (any), Information Technology, or related field.
  • Two (2) years of IT experience.
  • One (1) year of IT work experience with business transformations on Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Oracle Fusion Middleware, PL/SQL, Linux, and JavaScript.
  • In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equiv), will accept a Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equiv) earned through any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience, as determined by a professional evaluation service.
  • All experience may be acquired concurrently.
  • Travel and relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. required based on business needs.
  • International travel not required.
  • Travel not to exceed 5% / year for meetings and to complete assigned projects of varying lengths.
  • Telecommuting may be permitted as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Oracle Fusion Cloud assessment, deployment strategies & Supply Chain Implementation projects.
  • Analyze data, and ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor supplier performance and compliance with contracts, ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to quality standards.
  • Implement effective inventory control strategies to optimize stock levels, minimize carrying costs, and reduce stockouts or overstocks.
  • Coordinate transportation and logistics activities, including arranging shipments, managing freight costs, and tracking delivery schedules.
  • Develop accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and upcoming promotions or events.
  • Adjust inventory plans accordingly to meet changing demand patterns and seasonal fluctuations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to supply chain operations.
  • Design, configure, and implement Oracle Fusion SCM solutions.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
  • Develop, test, and deploy customizations, providing post-implementation support.
  • Prepare and deliver end-user training.
