Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Minimum seven (7) years of experience in Human Resources with progressive responsibility, including demonstrated experience leading multiple HR functions and demonstrated experience leading and developing a professional, high-performing team; equivalent education and years of experience considered.
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug test, which includes testing for marijuana (medical marijuana cards are not acceptable).

  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides strategic and operational leadership for assigned HR functions including talent acquisition, employee engagement and culture, learning & development, compensation, benefits and wellness, leave of absence programs, payroll, and HR systems & technology.
  • Oversees the development, composition, execution and communication of CRAA’s Total Rewards Program, including benefits, wellness, employee recognition, leave of absence programs, and worker’s compensation.
  • Leads the annual renewal process for CRAA’s self-insured and insured benefit plans.
  • Provides strategic oversight of HR systems and payroll operations, ensuring data integrity, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and continuous process improvement.
  • Oversees organizational learning, leadership development, and organizational development initiatives that strengthen workforce capability, leadership effectiveness, and organizational performance.
  • Oversees employee onboarding and employee experience initiatives that foster engagement, retention, organizational culture, and a successful employee lifecycle.
  • Leads the organization's talent acquisition strategy, including workforce planning, recruitment, sourcing, employer branding, and selection processes to attract and retain top talent.
  • Administers compensation practices by evaluating pay structures, supporting salary decisions, and helping maintain internal and external equity.
  • Oversees budget preparation, monitoring and approval of purchased goods, services and staff travel for the HR team and related programs.
  • Collaborates with HR leadership, organizational leaders, and cross-functional partners to support organizational change initiatives, workforce planning, various HR initiatives and projects, and strategic HR priorities.
  • Leads, coaches, and develops assigned HR staff while fostering collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement, and exceptional customer service.
  • Monitors changes in applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and recommends policy, program, or procedural changes to maintain compliance.
