About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Senior Manager, Human Resources for a healthcare segment located in Michigan. The on-site Senior Manager, Human Resources will lead and direct the routine functions of the Nutrition Services department including employee relations, leave of absence, investigations, and enforcing company policies and practices. Travel Requirement: This position involves regular regional travel to multiple sites and locations across Eastern and Northern Michigan. Candidates should be prepared to spend time on the road visiting different facilities, ensuring consistent support and collaboration across the region. Reliable transportation and flexibility to accommodate varying schedules are essential. A valid driver’s license and acceptable driver’s license record check is required . Sodexo offers a range of services to healthcare facilities, including food, nutrition, environmental, facilities management, healthcare technology management, retail, and patient experience services. Requirements

  • fluent in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Teams) and Smartsheet
  • able to create and facilitate training utilizing webinars
  • detailed oriented, flexible, and have ability to manage multiple priorities
  • and/or have excellent organization, communication and project management skills
  • Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum Management Experience - 5 years
  • Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years of HR experience

Responsibilities

  • recruit and onboard frontline hires utilizing onboarding and payroll systems
  • possess knowledge of state and federal HR laws
  • maintain active and terminated employee files
  • coordinate and conduct required monthly training
  • possess excellent customer service skills for phone conversations and email responses
  • possess strong time management and organizational skills
  • work well independently and as part of a team
  • understand and respect sensitive and confidential information
  • have excellent computer skills with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as the ability to learn additional computer programs as needed
  • complete special projects based on business needs regarding human resources data and analysis
  • demonstrate the ability to manage competing priorities and meet time demands
