About The Position

The Senior Manager, HEF Distribution Transformation serves as a strategic architect for RBC’s mortgage channel evolution, driving end-to-end transformational initiatives that align with HEF’s long-term growth objectives. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of advisor client engagement, ensuring RBC remains at the forefront of innovation in the mortgage space. This role leads and executes transformational initiatives to optimize RBC’s channel strategy, focusing on ideation-to-execution. This role drives the development of innovative tools, routines, and AI-powered solutions to empower sales channels, enhance advisor capabilities, and streamline client journeys.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of financial services experience
  • Experience driving complex, multi stakeholder initiatives/programs
  • Experience partnering across cross-platform groups (i.e. Regional Banking, Technology, Ops, Legal, Risk, etc)
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Ability to translate complex ideas into impactful workstreams and outcomes

Nice To Haves

  • Home Equity Finance experience
  • Master's Degree or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in marketing, technology, and/or advice centre

Responsibilities

  • Lead transformational projects from ideation to execution, focusing on channel strategy optimization, AI tool integration, and frictionless client experiences
  • Architect the AI-enabled future: Develop and execute a multi-year roadmap for AI tools that upskill advisors, automate workflows and accelerate application decisions, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities.
  • Collaborate with technology and business partners to design, prioritize, and iterate integrated solutions that reduce operational friction and accelerate application approvals
  • Influence strategic direction: Deliver actionable insights to senior leadership (e.g., SMT, MBR, QBR) and field stakeholders, shaping decisions through data-driven updates on transformation milestones and AI adoption trends.
  • Manage stakeholder alignment across departments to ensure seamless execution of transformational initiatives and adoption of new tools/routines.
  • Ensure unified execution: Align diverse teams around shared goals, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability to embed new tools and routines enterprise-wide.
