Torngat Metals is seeking a qualified Senior Manager, Health, Safety, Security and Emergency Response (HSSE) to join our team in Montréal. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Senior Manager, HSSE provides functional leadership and oversight across all Torngat Metals projects, construction activities, operational sites, and corporate functions. This role is responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Torngat Metals’ HSSE management systems across all company activities, including exploration, bulk sampling, construction, commissioning, operations readiness, transportation corridors, airstrip operations, camp facilities, and future processing and refining facilities. The Senior Manager, HSSE will provide strategic leadership and technical expertise to ensure that all Torngat Metals activities are conducted safely, responsibly, and in compliance with applicable legislation, permits, regulatory requirements, company standards, and industry best practices. The position will support activities across Québec, Labrador, and Nunavik, while fostering a strong safety culture among employees, contractors, Indigenous partners, and stakeholders. The role will evolve with the advancement of the project and transition into operations.
