This role is at the centre of the latest regulatory developments relevant to Lloyds Banking Group and its ability to grow, focus, and change. The team plays a key role in working with politicians, government departments, regulators, and trade associations to shape the UK financial services policy environment. As part of the wider Group Corporate Affairs function, this position will help coordinate, develop, and deliver the Group-wide regulatory policy strategy and influencing approach, with a particular focus on the consumer and conduct agenda. The role involves collaborating with Group-wide teams to identify and assess emerging regulatory developments at their infancy, to prioritise the issues that matter most, and to devise effective advocacy strategies.
