About The Position

Johnson & Johnson MedTech, Wound Closure & Healing (WC&H), is seeking a Senior Manager, Global Strategic Marketing to join the Cardiovascular Sutures business within Global Strategic Marketing located at our Raritan, NJ site. This role leads strategy and execution for the in-market cardiovascular suture portfolio while shaping the future cardiovascular product portfolio through a deep understanding of evolving market dynamics. This role requires a leader who can optimize today’s business results while proactively charting the strategic path for future expansion and innovation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive experience in MedTech, healthcare, or related industry
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic/upstream marketing, portfolio strategy, or global product management
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to connect market insights to actionable business decisions
  • Balanced mindset capable of optimizing current business while driving long-term innovation
  • Highly collaborative with a proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed global organization
  • Strong analytical skills, including market modeling, financial analysis, and KPI tracking
  • Ability to translate customer insights and clinical data into compelling commercial narratives

  • Experience in cardiovascular surgery, sutures, or related surgical specialties
  • Track record of leading global product launches and commercialization efforts

Responsibilities

  • Own global strategy and performance for the cardiovascular suture portfolio, including portfolio health, prioritization, and growth initiatives
  • Develop and deliver short- and long-term strategic plans that address unmet needs, strengthen competitive position, and elevate standards of care in cardiovascular procedures
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners including R&D, Clinical, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance, and Regional Marketing teams
  • Drive alignment across regions (US, EMEA, APAC, LATAM) to ensure effective global implementation of strategies
  • Assess global cardiovascular market dynamics, including procedural trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies
  • Conduct customer, market, and competitive analytics to inform strategic decision-making and portfolio prioritization
  • Identify unmet needs and translate insights into a future cardiovascular strategy that delivers differentiated value and drives innovation
  • Create and communicate compelling messaging to optimize portfolio value through procedural and solution-based selling
  • Ensure consistency of the global narrative across regions and channels
  • Partner with R&D, Clinical, Medical Affairs, and Regulatory to shape product claims, evidence strategies, and commercialization pathways
  • Lead end-to-end global launch strategy and execution for NPIs, including segmentation, pricing strategy, and launch sequencing across priority markets
  • Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare providers, and external partners
