Senior Manager Global Procurement- Direct CMO

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Global Procurement Direct CMO to join our Global Procurement team. In this role, you will provide strategic leadership within the CMO category of Direct Global Procurement, driving implementation, resolution, and guidance across Regeneron's External Manufacturing network while collaborating with stakeholders and Procurement category owners to advance stakeholder goals, competitive advantage, and supplier relationships. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 7+ years of progressive procurement experience, preferably in Pharma/BioPharma
- Experience in the mAb, large molecule manufacturing environment
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience managing category stage gate processes, including strategy development and execution
- In-depth knowledge of the Drug Product manufacturing process
- Success building relationships with stakeholders and suppliers to drive results, using market intelligence, risk, compliance, and financial assessment tools to evaluate global supply markets
Responsibilities
- Defines and implements CMO manufacturing category strategy to meet business needs
- Leads discussions with IOPS stakeholders to align Drug Product manufacturing priorities with Procurement category leads and management
- Negotiates complex contracts and drives supplier management and stakeholder engagement activities
- Drives cost savings, cash flow improvement, and other efficiency gains through category management
- Ensures category activities comply with GxP and other applicable regulations
- Negotiates contract terms and conditions in consultation with Law, aligned with Regeneron's priorities and business requirements
- Establishes and drives Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) programs and governance models
- Navigates a dynamic, fast-changing business environment, proactively identifying opportunities and driving results
