About The Position

The Senior Manager, Global Indirect Category Management will help shape the future of one of the world’s most iconic restaurant brands. As Pizza Hut accelerates digital transformation, omnichannel growth, and global modernization, this role will play a critical leadership position in building strategic supplier ecosystems that power customer experience, innovation, and enterprise growth worldwide. Lead the transformation of Pizza Hut’s global indirect procurement strategy across Digital & Technology, Marketing, Aggregators, and Professional Services. This role serves as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, driving enterprise value creation, innovation, supplier partnerships, and digital enablement across a complex global franchise ecosystem.

Requirements

• 10+ years’ experience in supply chain roles, ideally within food industry or related field
• 8+ years’ experience of global / regional strategic category management / procurement
• Strong experience in indirect categories (enterprise SaaS/cloud agreements, digital platforms, MarTech ecosystems, understanding of data/privacy/compliance considerations)
• Experience leading procurement transformation initiatives
• Ability to influencing executive stakeholders globally
• Experience managing strategic supplier relationships at executive level
• Strategic thinking and commercial acumen
• Excellent communication and partnership skills with the ability to work effectively with internal and external partners across the business
• Strong communications (presentation, verbal, writing) and ability to gain buy-in & influence key stakeholders at all levels in a global organization
• High level of intellectual curiosity
• Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging spend analytics, procurement technologies, and data-driven decision-making tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Global Indirect Category, partnering with regional & global leadership to align procurement strategies with business priorities and strategic requirements. e.g. (Digital & Technology, Professional Services, Marketing, Aggregators, etc.)
• Manage strategic supplier ecosystems across enterprise technology, digital commerce, customer engagement, marketing technology, consulting, and growth platforms.
• Partner with global & regional functional leads to ensure that category strategies are meeting the broader needs of the business
• Deliver significant value creation leading key negotiations and supplier partnerships with strategic suppliers and establish strategic partnerships, including developing business cases for long-term investments and innovation.
• Manage all potential category risks and ensure sufficient mitigation and business continuity plans are in pace to avoid disruption
• Support franchise relationship to ensure franchisees understand and are aligned to regional / global sourcing events for respective category and provide maximum participation
• Drive specification harmonization & optimization in collaboration with regional brand teams
• Champion sustainability initiatives within supply chain which reduce environmental impact & support the brands commitment to Good Growth – Ensure long term ESG goals are embedded into category & sourcing strategies
• Foster strong, collaborative working relationships with regional functional leaders (Finance, Marketing, Digital & Technology, Operations, etc.), regional leadership teams, Supply Chain teams, and external partners/consultants.
• Partner with regional functional leaders (e.g. finance, legal, digital, marketing) to identify opportunities to maximize volume leverage and procurement expertise, delivering increased value to Pizza Hut
